Having grown up in Oswego, KS, Rye has called the Four-States “home” for much of his life. He graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2008, where he majored in Broadcast Communications. He spent two years as a news reporter for KAKE-TV in Wichita, KS.

Rye was eager to move back to the Four-States and quickly found his calling in TV sales. He joined KOAM / FOX 14 as a Marketing Consultant in 2011, where he discovered his passion for working with local businesses. In 2020, he became the General Sales Manager for the stations.

If the weather is nice, chances are you’ll find Rye outside. He loves playing golf, gardening, swimming, grilling, and going on walks with his family.

Amanda was born in Maine, but was raised in Joplin, MO. She graduated Missouri Southern State University with a degree in Literary Studies.

She currently resides in Joplin with her husband and their two dogs. Amanda started with KOAM in July 2021 and is so excited to be a part of the team!

As an avid reader, Amanda has a large book collection. In her free time she enjoys shopping, spending time with family, and going on adventures with her husband.

Diane is a 4-State native and relates well to the people and businesses who call this area ‘home.’

She’s an experienced marketing consultant who started at KOAM in 1991 and started working with advertisers in 1997.

Diane says she prides herself on being well organized, providing consistent follow-through and good communication with colleagues and advertisers.

She is an active community volunteer currently involved with the Pittsburg Salvation Army, Noon Rotary and Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

She enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities, and scouring garage sales and flea markets for treasures.

Jim is a lifelong resident of the 4-States area. He has 20 years of marketing and advertising experience. He prides himself on having a solid understanding of our regional market and advertising strategies. He is focused on client results and positioning their brand.

In his free time, Jim enjoys traveling, sports and family.

J.W. has lived in the 4-State area for 39 years and has been with KOAM since 2007.

He enjoys helping local businesses become successful, taking pride in providing the best customer service to his clients. McCoy also enjoys spending time with his son, Colt.

Zack has lived in southeast Kansas his entire life. He has been with KOAM since 2017.

Among his loves are helping local businesses thrive in today’s market and coaching his two kids. He also enjoys the game of golf!

Emma is a Missouri native. She currently resides in Joplin, studying Marketing and Management at Missouri Southern State University.

Emma has a passion for learning and creating solutions to help businesses thrive. She prides herself on being persistent, hardworking, and adaptable.

Outside of work and school, Emma enjoys being outdoors, going to concerts, trying new coffee and sushi spots, and spending time with family and friends!

Kennedy, a Kansas native, graduated from Ottawa University with a double major in marketing and finance while playing four years of collegiate volleyball.

She has a passion for marketing and helping businesses succeed and grow. She prides herself on hard work, dedication, and helping others. She enjoys being active, spending time with her family, and being outdoors.

Christina, a native of South Texas, earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2020. She kickstarted her career as a News Reporter and weekend anchor at KSN in Joplin, Missouri. Seeking new horizons, she transitioned to KCRG in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to further her reporting skills.

Driven by her fascination with social media, Christina pivoted to become a social media coordinator at SCP Agency in Joplin. Her talents then landed her a role as a TV content host at KOAM News Now, where she quickly rose to become a Digital Marketing Coordinator.

Outside of work, Christina finds joy in gaming, creating makeup videos for TikTok, and spending quality time with her boyfriend, friends, and family.
